G-3 was very excited to receive a visit from Rosie the hen today! Mr. Parrett, another kindergarten teacher here at Wilbur, was able to bring Rosie in from his father's farm, in order to help us close out our farm unit for Harcourt. The children were as quiet as could be as Mr. Parrett talked to them about Rosie and even let them pet her back! This is one day that G-3 will certainly remember for years to come! Thank you Mr. Parrett! :-)
Hi Families! This is just a reminder that our Winter Concert will be tomorrow (December 19th) at 11:45 in the MPR. Join us for some great songs to put you in the holiday spirit! Please don't forget, taking your child home after the concert is an option. Due to the new security measures at school, we will need to know your decision before the concert so that we can have your child prepared to leave, and so that no one is lingering in the building. Thank you for your understanding with this matter! Get ready for some Run, Run, Rudolph fun! :-) As part of the advanced homework, the children were asked to create puppets from a little book. They were also asked to practice reading the story so that they would be fluent by this week, in order to read to the class.
